MARCH 26 - PTA "Spring Refresh"We will be holding a joint Carpenter Maintenance Day / PTA Spring Refresh on March 26th from 9:30-12:00pm. Join Chameleons (young and old) to clear overgrowth, pull unsightly weeds, mulch, and clear trash from the Carpenter campus. Volunteers from the Cary Teen Council will be on site to lend a hand as well! Any amount of time you can give is appreciated -- click here for more info and to let us know you're coming!
In addition to cleaning up our school grounds, we will hold a very short but informative PTA General Membership Meeting at 10:00am, during which we will answer questions and update you on everything your PTA is up to! This is a great chance to introduce yourself and let us know how you want to get involved! We'll do a little "spring cleaning" and have a table of older spirit wear priced to GO! Take advantage of some great deals and help us clean out our inventory! We will also be taking orders for our new spirit wear line (more info below), if you'd like to purchase items from that. We ask for donations of various items throughout the year, and realize it's not always convenient to send them to school with your child (especially if s/he ride the bus). So, we will also have collection stations out for the following: - store-bought, individually packaged snacks for the Staff Lounge - new or gently used pants/shorts for the Front Office to keep in case anyone needs a change of clothes during the school day (boys & girls larger sizes needed, pull-on athletic styles preferred) - gently used books -- these will be given to Ms. Alston for use in the Media Center. Books that she doesn't need will then be offered up to the teachers for individual classroom libraries. We would love to see you and your family on March 26 -- come for as long as you're able -- you'd be amazed at what 15 minutes of pulling weeds will do for the look of our school. We are excited to enjoy some (hopefully) nice weather and give our campus and PTA connections a "Spring Refresh!" Let us know if you have any questions! *Please note, this is a PTA event, not a school event. There will be no access to the inside of the building, including restrooms. Comments are closed.
