Volunteer
There are opportunities to fit every schedule, and every little bit of help means the world to our school, students, teachers, and staff. Please consider giving from your time and talents to fill one of these roles. Chairing or serving on a committee is also great way to meet other parents and become more involved in the school! We can’t do it without all our amazing volunteers!

Register to Volunteer
Per district policy, all volunteers must register with Wake County Public Schools and pass a criminal background check in order to volunteer in classrooms and on field trips. Visit the Media Center during school hours to register on the computers. Note that Volunteers must reactivate their registration each school year .
Signing In
When visiting Carpenter Elementary to volunteer in the classroom or for PTA events, please report directly to the office and sign in as a Volunteer and to obtain a visitor's badge that must be displayed prominently. Carpenter tracks its volunteer hours, so it is important to have your volunteer time counted.
