Welcome (Back) to Carpenter Elementary!

Carpenter's PTA is excited about the new school year and the events and activities planned!  Here are a few quick things to know:

• Families are encouraged to join the PTA in support of our students, staff and school.  There are two easy ways to join: you may print out a membership form and send in a check with your child, or you can join online.
• Stay connected: subscribe to the newsletter and/or like the PTA Facebook page
  
• Add the PTA Calendar to your personal online calendar by clicking here for the PTA Events Calendar and then click on the Google logo in the lower right hand corner.
• New this year: Spirit Day is EVERY FRIDAY!  Students are encouraged to wear yellow/green or their SpiritWear.  Items will available for sale before school on Fridays and at events such as Kindergarten Parent Breakfast and Open House or print out the order form here.
• Register or reactivate to be a volunteer by using the computers in the Media Center during school hours.  This is a WCPSS policy for all volunteers in classrooms and on field trips.
• Volunteer with PTA!  If you'd like to take a more active role in serving our students and teachers, click here to view the list of openings --  our most pressing needs are for Yearbook Committee, Membership Committee, Corporate Sponsorship Sales Team, and Teacher Luncheon Committee.
