Our final PTA meeting of the year will be Tuesday, May 14th at 6:00. At this meeting members will vote to install Board Officers for 2019-2020, as well as vote to approve next year's budget. The proposed slate of officers is as follows:
President: Bekah Lu
Vice President: Amy Munn
Secretary: Joe Nicke, Jr.
Treasurer: Wendy Chen
In addition, we're currently looking for parents to volunteer for next year's PTA. Some of our activities and programs get started right at the beginning of the year so we'd love to connect with interested parents now to get them ready! Our most pressing needs are for:
At Carpenter we love our teachers and look forward to Teacher Appreciation Week every year! This is the perfect time for parents and kids to thank their teachers for the hard work they've put in all year. Our teachers take care of our children every day, now let's take care of them! Below is this year's PTA theme with suggestions on what to do each day (if you'd like to participate), but of course we invite parents to show gratitude in any way you wish. And don't forget about our Support Staff Members, such as specials teachers, cafeteria and office staff, and administrators--these folks serve all students every day. To view the list of class assignments for Support Staff Member as noted for Tuesday, visit bit.ly/class-assignments.
The PTA is planning special treats for teachers and staff all week long. If you'd like to help by donating supplies or an hour of your time, please visit our signup: signupgenius.com/go/409094eacae2aa57-teacher2.
Mark your calendars for Friday, May 3rd at 5:30 for our annual Spring Family Fun Night! We have lots of fun in store for you, and as always, this event is FREE!!! Here's a sneak peak at some of the activities to look forward to:

Honor your child whether they are graduating this year and saying goodbye to the Carpenter family or if their journey is just beginning! You can include a picture and message of love or congratulations and your child will be thrilled to see their own little place in the back of the yearbook.
