Yearbooks for 2019-20 have been completed and distributed to those who pre-ordered them.
We have a few extra softcover copies available for purchase ($20 each), if you'd still like one! Please order online here.
The Front Office is in need of clothing items for when students have spills or accidents— most needed are clean, gently-used boys/girls pants (especially in upper grades’ sizes). New, packaged underwear is greatly appreciated too!
These items are always needed, so please keep in mind throughout the year as you're cleaning out your children’s closets.
If your child comes home in a pair of borrowed pants, please wash and send back to school so they can be used again! Thank you!
It’s time to mix, bubble and test

What is the Science Expo?
The Science Expo is an annual event where we encourage our Chameleons of all grade levels (kindergarten-fifth grade) to practice scientific thinking and problem-solving and improvise when a procedure doesn’t work out as predicted.
Students submit a project idea in the registration process outlined below, conduct the experiment, and create a display to share their findings. This gives students a chance to apply the science skills they are learning in school while further investigating an area of interest to them.
Who Can Participate?
Any student from kindergarten through fifth grade at Carpenter can register.
What are the Guidelines for a Project?
While there is a great deal of flexibility in the projects, there are some guidelines we ask the projects to follow:
What is the Expo Schedule?
The Expo will be held on February 19th, 2020 from 6-7pm in the cafeteria/gym at Carpenter Elementary School. The schedule for the event is below.
How Does my Child Register?
A student can register in one of two ways (see below); the deadline to register is Friday, February 14, 2020.
Are there Resources Available to Help my Child Explore Possible Topics for the Expo?
What if I Have Additional Questions?
If you have additional questions please email the event chair at email@example.com.
CHECK YOUR BOX TOPS! Some will expire on 11/1/19. Be sure to send those in to school by 10/30 (Track 3 -- send in by 10/18!). Please be sure they are attached to a Collection Sheet. Don't have a sheet? Print one below!
Also, the Box Tops program has gone digital. They are phasing out clipping the actual tops. Instead, simply download the App and scan your store receipts. It's easy to do and the App instantly finds your qualified purchases and credits our school for your purchases.
