The 2017 Science Expo is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, February 21 from 6:00-7:00pm in the school’s cafeteria. This is a great chance for students to find a scientific question/topic that interests them and then use an experiment to learn more about it.
The event is open to any Chameleon in grades K-5 who wish to participate. Students propose an experiment, perform it, and then share their results at the Science Expo. The actual event works like a traditional science fair, where students display their results on a trifold board and discuss them with other students and guests. Siblings are welcome to work on a project together rather than doing separate ones. More information is available on the Science Expo webpage. Click on the button below to register. Please submit this information by the end of the day on Wednesday, February 15th. Have you heard about the PTA's Tasty Tuesday program? Tasty Tuesday is a great way to encourage healthy eating and introduce kids to fresh fruits and vegetables they may not have tried before. Some of the foods the kids have tasted this year have been grapefruit and cherry tomatoes. This month the kids will be trying pineapple.
