The Front Office is in need of clothing items for when students have spills or accidents— most needed are clean, gently-used boys/girls pants (especially in upper grades’ sizes). New, packaged underwear is greatly appreciated too!
These items are always needed, so please keep in mind throughout the year as you're cleaning out your children’s closets.
If your child comes home in a pair of borrowed pants, please wash and send back to school so they can be used again! Thank you!

What is the Science Expo?
The Science Expo is an annual event where we encourage our Chameleons of all grade levels (kindergarten-fifth grade) to practice scientific thinking and problem-solving and improvise when a procedure doesn’t work out as predicted.
Students submit a project idea in the registration process outlined below, conduct the experiment, and create a display to share their findings. This gives students a chance to apply the science skills they are learning in school while further investigating an area of interest to them.
Who Can Participate?
Any student from kindergarten through fifth grade at Carpenter can register.

While there is a great deal of flexibility in the projects, there are some guidelines we ask the projects to follow:
What is the Expo Schedule?
The Expo will be held on February 19th, 2020 from 6-7pm in the cafeteria/gym at Carpenter Elementary School. The schedule for the event is below.
How Does my Child Register?
A student can register in one of two ways (see below); the deadline to register is Friday, February 14, 2020.

CHECK YOUR BOX TOPS! Some will expire on 11/1/19. Be sure to send those in to school by 10/30 (Track 3 -- send in by 10/18!). Please be sure they are attached to a Collection Sheet. Don't have a sheet? Print one below!

Click the button below for the order form that was sent home with your student. Samples will be available at the School Store on Fridays in the main hallway (8:45-9:15am).
Orders can be submitted with cash/check payable to Carpenter PTA or credit card on Fridays at the School Store. The deadline for ordering is October 23, 2019. Items will be delivered before Thanksgiving break.
